Awesome tips on how to excel at social media. I totally struggle with #3:
“Be on-brand and mindful of your footprint!” I often have to contain myself
because I always want to share the stuff I find interesting online.
But, it usually doesn’t pertain to my audience so I have to have a little
self-control. It shows my personal side but I do have to share more than
Dr. Who-inspired cakes with people!

Really liked this video Natalie and it is timely because honestly, there is
so much BAD etiquette out there right now. In particular, I love your
analogy of you would sit across from someone and sell, sell, sell so why
would you do that on social media. It is a great way to drive home that
people should conduct themselves on social media as they do in their life
and relationships. As a side note, I’m reading Ariana Huffington’s book
Thrive right now and she has a bit on social media. Specifically, she
mentions, “but going viral has gone viral, and is taken to be a big sign of
success independently on the value of the thing going viral.” Right?

I love these tips from +Natalie Sisson – The Suitcase Entrepreneur! Social
Media etiquette is so important — what you put out there, no matter where,
can make the difference of one person’s choice of whether to be or not to
be your next awesome client!

I have to agree with you on the points you highlighted here. I feel really
happy and comfortable being me, it just wouldn’t work for me if I had to be
someone that I wasn’t.
Nice one Natalie ;)
